11/2/2014 0 Comments My morningI had two mornings. One false one at what I thought was 3:55 (and technically was, but today is the first day after daylight savings, so perhaps it was really 4:55 to my son). He woke crying with a full diaper. He's notorious for waking at ungodly hours and being happy and ready to start the day. He was not happy this morning, however and cried for 15 min straight. I got the diaper changed, gave him some milk and laid down with him, and he was calm. Then the cat meowed. His eyes popped open, and he whispered "paahh-cheeehh" which is Toddler for 'Patches'. at a loss, I did what we do when we put him down for naps and bed, which was give him a kiss, day good night, and leave the room. He cried for maybe a min and was asleep. Morning #2 started at 6:30. Both tiny kids woke up in good moods. I got my workout clothes on that I had set out the night before, fed the baby a bottle, and turned on cartoons. Then I started the YouTube vid I'd picked out the night before. 30 min. full body HIIT workout. Day 01- 30 day full body burnout by Millionare Hoy (http://youtu.be/54QAieo3Gw0) I had the energy to complete the full 30 min, but extremely modified versions of most of the moves to accommodate for my belly jiggle. Plus, there were children to be entertained simultaneously, which the flopping around seemed to do. I felt pretty silly, and almost felt like it would be worth sharing for big girl solidarity. People who make workout vids are always so fit. I'm pretty chubby but I can hold my own, endurance-wise. But some moves aren't as doable. My arms can't support my weight well, and everything flops when I jump with both feet at the same time. So burpees, push-ups, and jumping jacks aren't my fav. But I'll keep it up. Then I washed some dishes. Btw, I love these sticks you add soap to. So much nicer than a plain sponge. Then I made breakfast casserole. I keep most of my recipes on index cards, but after having lost or destroyed several, I've been keeping my absolute favorite ones in a little journal. It's been a life saver on a few occasions (if you consider finding a lost special recipe a "life saver" lol). The day's gearing up to be a nice one, with the exception of my husband waking up with what seems to be pink eye.
